    I'm using Federal Fusion in my 6.8 Spc also. I tested several different brands and the Federal Fusion held the tightest groups. Flip over to my channel and check out my 6.8. I built it piece by piece.

    Observation: In order to convert your 556 into a 6.8spc all you need is to swap out the bolt carrier and the barrel and it would work with existing lower;
    In order to user 6.8 SPC Mags you would have to use a 6.8 specific lower.
    Your standard mag would hold and load and feed 6.8 spc but you would get less rounds of 6.8 to fit in your 556 mag

    Good video. I'm wanting to know the range you have or feel that you would use the 6.8 SPC to. I'm getting my first AR soon & want to have 2 uppers. One for 5.56 ( the ultra common round) and a deer capable( & legal minimum caliber diameter) round for about 200 and maybe up to 250 yards. I live in the west near mountains where 15 to 200 yards can easily be the distance to the deer. I'm considering the 6.5 Grendel and the .300 Blackout also. I will be reloading the ammo so if components are available I'm good.
