In response to many requests, this is a short film containing many of the secrets of stalking and hunting I have learned over many years vermin shooting.
I also talk about the rifle I use most and explain correct shooting position and camouflage. Most of the tips are very useful for air rifle shooting which requires the hunter to get much closer to the target animal.
Although I talk about using a rimfire rifle, the skills are probably even more relevant for air rifle shooting as you will need to get much closer to your target to take an effective shot.
This video also contains my most valuable shooting tip which enables me to call rabbits out of their warrens.
Any clown can drive about in a vehicle and shoot rabbits whilst leaning on the bonnet or window so this video focuses on shooters who walk about and are prepared to use stealth to get closer to their quarry.
Many of the tips in the video can be useful for filming wildlife, not just shooting rabbits and I use them on a daily basis while making wildlife videos for my channel.
Gun bought from South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies (Barnsley) http://www.rimfiremagic.co.uk
I shoot to control vermin in areas that are over-run with rabbits so please no ignorant or insulting comments – they will be removed and you will be blocked.

Thanks for watching.

Great video yet again, just to add one more thing, don't splash a load of perfume on you (if your a female) and for the lads leave the Old Spice or Brut to after the hunt. If you smell like the Countryside you will blend in much better.

Great video. Haven't hunted since I was a young man. Used to have a Marlin .22 WRM. Spent many weekends putting thousands of rounds through that rifle. All the tips you've mentioned brought back memories of time spent in the outdoors. Today, unfortunately, I live in a more suburban area. There are some wooded areas nearby, but the noise alone would bring trouble. I recently purchased a new Benjamin .22 NP Varmint air rifle. I know a few people in the area that own good sized pieces of land that have agreed to allow me to target shoot. I'm waiting on a UTG/Leapers 4X32 AO scope, a UTG low profile bi-pod, and a sling and swivel install kit, (air guns are heavy). Like the way you've set up your rifle. Very well thought out. If I could shoot a rimfire now, I'd want it exactly as yours is. Relatively quiet, compact rifle with all the essentials, and the right amount of power needed to do the job. Enjoy the outdoors and be safe.

Great vid. Very informative. Subscribed. And your rifle setup is just tops.

I'd love to know if you found any site that sells an 8 shot mag for the anschutz 1517. I know you can shorten the front leg of the follower on the 4 shot mag to get five shots. But 8 or 10 shots would be nice for certain circumstances.
